Description

Turn all of those scrap pieces you have been saving into an amazing art quilt landscape! Don't have scraps? No worries! Marilyn will teach you how to turn fabric pieces into scraps.

In this class you will learn how to cut, organize, piece, thread paint and finish a beautiful landscape. We will even learn a bit about basic art principles. This is such a fun way to create a stunning piece of art and all from those scraps you didn't know what to do with! You won't be using a pattern but you will be amazed at how easy and exciting it is to step out of your comfort zone and let the creativity flow!  Marilyn is so looking forward to working with you!

Watch Marilyn's welcome video below to see some the amazing things she does.

Student Comments

Sandra:

An über talented artist, who makes learning fun! Her coaching style is one of encouragement with a "think outside the box" and "you can do it" atmosphere. Marilyn works hard to make her lessons easy to follow and has a knack for drawing her class together to interact with each other to receive maximum benefit from the constant exchange of ideas. A true environment to thrive in! I enjoyed her class thoroughly!

Mickey:

With a lack of knowledge and talent for drawing, all my fears of failure were soon dispelled by Marilyn. She was encouraging and provided 1:1 feedback on an almost daily basis. I learned to have confidence in myself. The fact that the students in the class had that constant reinforcement was what kept me going. It was soon into the course that I was actually "drawing" with fabric. Marilyn's course taught me so much more than the basics of fabric art. It taught me how to let go, be free and watch what happens. I have been able to use that knowledge in every aspect of my art quilts today.

Nancy:

Taking Marilyn Lee's Pets With Personality class opened up a whole new dimension to my art quilting abilities. Her class materials and videos were helpful, clear and easy to follow. She was very responsive to all comments and questions. She encouraged all class members to share their progress so we could learn from each other. I have used her piecing and finishing techniques in several art quilts since finishing the class project. I was so glad to have taken Marilyn's class and would recommend it to any art quilter.
